Fancy organising Life, the
Universe and Everything over a drink or two?
Regrettably Leicester's Cafe Scientifique is in indefinite hiatus until new organisers can be found. A similar group, Skeptics in the Pub, has been set up in Leicester. This also features monthly talks by scientists - but in a pub. You can find more about them at http://leicester.skepticsinthepub.org/ We, the previous organisers (Dave Barton, Carolyn Deeming, Tim Macedo-Hatch et al), have moved on to new pastures and sadly can't keep it going.
However if
you would like to get Cafe Scientifique Leicester
up and running again, do please contact us (call Dave on 07793 732424, or

here.)
We will
happily pass on advice and encouragement, and we also have a respectable pot
of funds (thanks to previous generous donations from the University of
Leicester) to pass on to anyone who does get it
going again!
